Au Lac has an excellent range of both meat and wine. The food is absolutely perfect, with the meats coming until you're unable to pack any more in. Their wine selection will complement any combination of food you decide upon and is reasonably priced by the bottle (for a restaurant). The interior is brightly colored and well-lit, which helps provide a truly Brazilian atmosphere. The service staff rarely, if ever, need to be asked to refill wine, carve more meat, or provide additional sauce. They really made the meal remarkably better and managed to find the perfect blend of constant attention without the feel of constant disturbance. I can only remember never having to ask for anything, but I can't remember a single instance of really noticing the excellent service (which is perfect).5 Stars for a 5 Star restaurant, menu, and staff!

“Delicious!”This gets five stars only because of the meat, it was just so amazingly delicious!! After living two years in Southeast Asia sometimes you need to splurge to get some proper red meat, and this was the place to do it! Some of the cuts of beef were melt in your mouth delicious! OK, the side dishes weren't great but we weren't there for them! Best beef I've had in Asia, by far.The only downside (other than the side dishes) was the service. It could have been better. I don't know if it was just the way our table was positioned or if they didn't like us, but a few times the waiters would skip our table and we would have to wave them down to come over with the cuts of meat we wanted. It was a bit annoying. The waiters were very friendly though, so I think it was just the where our table was 😛

“Good steakhouse, even if a bit expensive”Meat is very good! You can choose between many dishes, the service is good and restaurant is very big (not too crowded, there's no need to book).Just price is quite high... For a dinner in 2 people, it's easy to spend around 1,000,000 VND; anyway, the quality and service are very good!

“Great Meat, Great Service...Carnivores welcomed!”I rate places based on what they are...if you want an excellent selection of meats that come as often as you'd like, this place is fantastic. I am always cautious about meat in VN, but this place put me at ease. From the beginnin we had a great table with great service and best of all the selection of meat was superb. Lamb, beef, pork (ribs and loin), sausage, ham...you get the idea. Everything was HOT and the waiters who delivered the meat sliced them with professional precision. The meat is melt in your mouth. There is the obligatory salad, bread and dessert (try the passion friut pudding), but the star of the show is the meat. Drinks are great too, but on the pricey side. But look, you're going there to have a great time with friends so splurge. Otherwise Lotteria is down the street. My total meal (drinks dessert incl) was ~$50USD (1.1 Mil VND). Most places like this in other countries are in the 1.4Mil VND range so prices are STILL cheaper in Vietam. Yeah!Speaking of friends, the atmosphere in the place is really cool. The outside is lit up with a neon sign and the bar area looks to be the place to hang out. Upstairs (where we were) were several tables including large areas for big groups. I would not recommend this place for a romantic dinner (my group was 4 guys), but if everyone is hungry and likes meat, it is a great time with friends and family.

“Meat lovers will love it"Over time it has got a bit expensive (relative to prices in Saigon - still cheap if you come from overseas). Best to go in a large group as more fun - be prepared to eat a lot of meat - service is always good and the food is delicious - its the same system as a few of these places - you eat till you cant fit in anymore meat - have a rest and then start up again and then go home overloaded (bloated). However its a great place to go but NOT too often

For those not familiar with the whole Churrasco thing - endless skewers of perfectly cooked meats, various succulent cuts of steak & beef, lamb, sausages, chicken, king prawns accompanied by side salad and various sauces to accompany each meat. They even throw in a tasty light dessert as well, thankfully as we could hardly move after that feed! Would recommend for all carnivores, we will be back for sure! Ah, and try the caipirinhas! Staff were superb. Great experience!Visited October 2012

Since we would like to make their visit a memorable one, we decided to have a flavourful and heavy lunch in one of the finest Brazilian resto in Saigon.. Au Lac Du Brazil! We we're given the best seat in the house, comfortable chairs, enough breeze during the summer heat and since my 7-yr old son is with us, we we're given a non-smoking table which for me is just perfect ^_^. Staff are approachable, friendly and can speak English (very rare in Saigon). I asked the manager, Jay to help me surprise the girlfriend of my brother and they are more than willing to prepare a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her.We were first served fresh salads, we love almost all the meat served. I personally love tender beef which I learned the name was PCINHA, the Ham and grilled fresh pineapple, my brother's fave is the shrimp rolled in bacon, the tasty chicken wings.seafood, and my son's favorite are mostly all of it, particularly the pepper sauce to match everything we were served! We were also offered the house wine which was not that chilled but then eventually got chilled 🙂 The heavy meal was then complemented by the banana milanese (not to sweet but deliciously prepared) and to lighten our taste buds was the passion fruit mousse. It felt like it was my last meal (thank God it wasn't) because it is just perfect to match our holiday mood!by the way, they were also very generous to serve at least a kilo of fresh tomato which my son loved!:) This restaurant is not only for adults, children loved their food as well!To sum it all up, it's a great value for money! tasteful barbecue! fresh and well prepared from the vegetables, fruits and meat not to mention the good line-up of staff!Kudos to the Au Lac Saigon Team!
